The national SHUBAT FEST-2026 festival took place in Aktau on August 29. The Grand Prix went to the Birlik farm from Zhanaozen. The winner received a GWM Poer.
Competition Winners
In the main Best Shubat category, first place went to the Tolqyn farm from Aktau. The Orynbasar farm from Zhylyoi District in Atyrau Region came second, and the Nur-Abyl farm from Beineu District in Mangystau Region came third.
The Grand Prix went to the Birlik farm from Zhanaozen. Astana Motors, the festival's official sponsor, provided the winner with a GWM Poer.
More Than 15,000 Visitors
The competition received 83 applications. Forty-one entrants passed the preliminary selection, and after laboratory testing, 20 producers were admitted to the final.
The festival drew more than 15,000 residents and visitors to Aktau. Participants from four regions also presented qurt, balqaymaq, desserts, coffee, ice cream, and cocktails made with camel milk.
